NJJFL League Information

We are members of the North Jersey Junior Football League (NJJFL). The League is comprised of the following towns:

Conference A

Division 1: Ridgewood, Suffern, Wayne Boys Club, Wayne PAL

Division 2: Fair Lawn, Mahwah, Bergenfield, Wyckoff

Division 3: Ramsey, Glen Rock, Pequannock, Upper Saddle River / Allendale

Division 4: Franklin Lakes, Kinnelon, Oakland, Pompton Lakes / Riverdale

The official League weigh-in is usually held on the second Saturday of September, just before the first week of games.

It is mandatory that all players pass this weigh-in, so they must be present. There will be two mid-season weigh-ins during October. Players are allowed two additional pounds at each mid-season weigh-in. If a player fails to attend a weigh-in, then he will become ineligible. All teams that qualify for the play-offs will be required to attend a fourth mid-season weigh-in.

 
Age and Grade Eligibility PDF Print E-mail

Seniors - a player must not have reached his 15th birthday prior to 9/1. Students entering the 9th grade or higher are ineligible.

Juniors - a player must not have reached his 12th birthday prior to 6/1. Students entering the 7th grade or higher must not have reached their 12th birthday by 9/1.

PeeWees - a player must not have reached his 10th birthday prior to 6/1. Students entering the 5th grade or higher must not have reached their 10th birthday by 9/1.

NOTE: For senior players who turn 14 or 15 before 9/1, Junior players who turn 12 on or between 6/1 and 8/31, PeeWee players who turn 10 on or between 6/1 and 8/31, a letter from their school principal or superintendent of schools certifying that they are in an eligible grade will be required.
