The Wyckoff Football Cheerleading Program is open to all girls in grades 5-8. There are no tryouts or other competitive issues that may cause you to not come out and enjoy this sport. The program is designed to accommodate those who participate in other sports or activities but seeks to prepare the girls for junior high or high school cheerleading or to tryout for our winter competitive cheerleading squad. Our Cheerleading Program is truly the place to be this fall for any one interested in having fun and learning what it means to be a cheerleader; support your community and the Raiders football teams.

The Wyckoff Cheerleading Program has recruited qualified, dedicated cheerleading coaches committed to this program. These coaches are all high school-aged or older and come to us with references. They are extremely responsible, goal setting, role models for the cheerleaders of this program. They are assisted by Team Moms who organize practices and manage the discipline (if required) by the squad. Wyckoff Recreation Cheerleading Program supplies each cheerleader with a uniform, skirt, vest, sweatpants and rain jacket. Each cheerleader must supply their own bodysuits, briefs, socks and sneakers.  Also there will be other cheerleading apparel to buy to support the team and the program.

Wyckoff Cheerleaders cannot have squads to support each game and every football team. Our cheerleaders cheer for the Juniors A and B team and the Senior A and B team. We make all attempts to have a squad at every “A” game. The schedule for each squad and the game they will support will be handed out by your team moms you can find directions to the "away" games can be obtained on the website.

Whether from parents or fans, the girls love the participation from those in the stands when they cheer. We invite you to use one of their shakers and to join the many “Let’s Go Wyckoff!” cheers.

Wyckoff Cheerleading Program is a full participant in the Wyckoff Football Booster Association. The football program fully supports and includes the cheerleading program in all events and activities. We participate in the 8^th grade senior night and the end-of-season banquets.
